Thank you for choosing Hummingbird Floral for your floral needs. This page outlines our shipping and delivery policy to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for our valued customers. Please read the following information carefully. 

Order Processing and Delivery Timeframe 

  • Orders placed before our cut-off times will be processed and prepared for delivery.  The cut off-time is 2pm everyday. 
  • Order deadline is 3 days before the delivery date. Please place your order 3 days before the delivery date.  
  • At Hummingbird Floral, we strive to deliver orders withing the requested delivery date; however, please note the unforeseen circumstances or external factors may occasionally cause delays. We appreciate your understanding in such cases.  

Delivery Areas 

  • We offer delivery to Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. For specific delivery locations, you can input your address in your order to see the fee that is charged.  
  • If you require an expedited or specific delivery time, please contact us directly to make the necessary arrangements. Additional charges may apply for these special delivery options.  

Recipient Availability 

  • It is essential to provide accurate recipient contact information and delivery instructions during the ordering process. 
  • We encourage all deliveries to have a phone number that we can contact in case our delivery driver has an issue with the drop-off location. 
  • If the recipient is not available at the delivery address, we will assess the situation based on various factors. Our delivery personnel may leave the flowers at the front door ensuring they are protected from the elements. Alternatively, we may contact the recipient or sender to arrange an alternative delivery time.  

Flower Substitutions 

  • In rare cases where specific flower varieties or colors are not available due to seasonal or supply limitations, our skilled florists will make appropriate substitutions of equal or higher value while maintaining the overall look and feel the arrangement. 
  • We ensure that all flower and plant substitutes will be as close to the original as possible.  
  • If you are not open to substitutes, please indicate that in your order and our florists will call you if the order cannot be completed. 

Cancellations and Refunds 

  • If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that cancellations or modifications may not be possible if the order has already been prepared or dispatched. 
  • At Hummingbird Floral, we are confident in our premium quality flowers and the expertise of our florists. However, if our flowers did not meet your expectations, refunds or store credits may be offered in certain circumstances, subject to our discretion and the specific situation.
